Housing Bill - Timetable |
The Housing and Planing Bill is being debated (with over 400 amendments) in Committee of the House of Lords, on Monday 21 March (late), Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23. That should finish the Committee stage.
The Report stage will be after Easter break on 11 and 13 April, plus a further date yet to be decided ( maybe 20th?). A member of the Lords advises: 'If there are government defeats, the Bill goes back to the Commons, then returns to us (probably overturning the defeats). 'So the end is not yet in sight!' |
