Lords hear evidence against Housing Bill |
Lords heard hard-hitting evidence against the Housing Bill, from tenants and trade union groups in a special hearing last night. Twenty tenant groups representing council, housing association, Gypsy Travellers and private renters, plus individuals, trade unions and housing workers made a case against specific aspects and the overall logic of the Bill now going through the Lords. Crossbench, Green and Labour Lords took part in the session organised by Kill the Housing Bill and sponsored by Baroness Jones. Download for more. |
