| Hammersmith Council discusses Housing Privatisation |
|
The Labour-led council in Hammersmith and Fulham, west London, is considering privatisation of all 12.500 council homes. A resident-led panel to consider the future of council housing, will be led by former Housing Minister Keith Hill, who as a minister championed widespread stock transfer despite tenant complaints at bullying and dirty tricks, and opposition at Labour conferences. DCH is working to ensure tenants hear the risks and threat of privatisation. |
