| Ethelred fights transfer after NO vote |
|
Ethelred tenants with local MP Kate Hoey and Austin Mitchell MP met Housing Minister Grant Shapps today, to protest at the transfer of their estate against the wishes of majority of tenants. Lambeth Council finally released under Freedom Of Information Act, details of the vote on three estates in South London in November 2011. It shows 60.9% of Ethelred tenants voted No to transfer. The Council and Government are forcing through transfer of the three estates to WATMOS, on the basis of 51.1% of tenants aggregated across three estates. For more info text or call 07944293854
