Proposed punitive cuts in housing benefit will hit council tenants as well as those in the private rented sector, leading to tenants evicted, more homelessness and longer waiting lists.
Distribute the briefing (print locally or order from info@defendcouncilhousing.org.uk), get tenants organisations, trade unions, councillors and MPs to sign the Open Letter against HB cuts (see www.camdenfed.org), organise a local briefing meeting, and make sure tenants and council housing are central to local campaigns against cuts.
